That's life! It would be nice if they and Ulead did work with 64bit PSP but not worth upgrading given I can access them if needed with 32bit PSP. So perhaps later versions of some Flaming Pear plugins might work with 64bit PSP but apparently none of the ones in my version do. Once I get around to getting it up and running I'll spend some time in the help files and/or online information because I do recall I never did get familiar with it and maybe just let it gather dust. Given what you said, I'm thinking I likely don't need the latest and greatest - and that would likely just add more filters rather than functionality in any case. So I haven't tried installing it again yet but have checked out the Filter Forge site. Maybe even then I thought it was just for creating filters or re-creating - i.e., editing - the ones that came with the program.

I also recall having fired it up but not having spent any time learning how to use it, even just basic filters. I have located a copy of an older version of Filter Forge (v.4). It's consumed many enjoyable hours on my reading your post I recalled that I once had a version of Filter Forge (prior to a couple of hard drive crashes) so I did a File Explorer search of my latest computer which has drives installed that had backups of stuff from previous computers. But some programs wont open Filter Forge as an external editor. I use Filter forge as a plugin from either PSPx8 or Photoline. Shopping around may save you a lot of money. They have some crazy discounts from time to time. The 'Standard' version is currently showing a price of $249.00. There is also a 3000x3000 pixel limit of the cheaper versions as well. The ability to edit and create presets doesn't come with the cheaper versions. Make sure you buy the version that suits your needs/wants. There are restrictions on each of the versions when you make a purchase.

You can spend a lifetime using any of the 15000 free presets. Remember there are two parts to Filter Forge. And was very slow.Ĭareful with Filter Forge. I never played with it much as I thought it was to gimicky. I placed the Flaming Pear Food plugin in that folder and it worked. Topaz, Nik etc etc etc, all in one folder.

Every plugin I get I copy to that folder. My Flaming Pear trial was with PSPx8 on my old laptop which recently went to computer heaven. JoeB I'm winging it a bit here so I may be wrong. I should add that most of what I would do is generally covered by what I have, (although there are several 32bit plugins that I still kind of like because they can create some interesting effects if used with blend modes in PSP - Mura Meister's come to mind. I suspect not but thought it was worth checking. If they are standalone programs as opposed to - or as well as - just plugin versions then, of course, they don't have to be 64 bit. So I'm only asking if anyone knows of other plugin-type programs (either in plugin versions, standalone versions, or both) that aren't on my list.

To narrow things down, below is a list of plugins or standalone plugin-type programs that I have, either as plugins or using standalone versions I load with a script. I am curious about how many plugins (or standalone programs that do plugin-type stuff) are actually available for use in 64bit PSP2018, and thought the best way to find out (considering I've Goggled the best I can but it doesn't seem to be definitive) was to check with PSP 64bit users here.
